Dana Sheedy, PA-C
Dana is a native of Louisiana, and graduated from LSU Physician Assistant school in Shreveport, LA in 2000. She started her career as a physician assistant in Cardiovascular and Neurosurgery. After her marriage, she relocated to Tallahassee in 2003, and transferred then to Dermatology. She focuses in medical dermatology and enjoys educating patients in their medical diagnosis and treatment options. She also operates the XTRAC laser in our office as a treatment option for localized psoriasis, atopic dermatitis and vitiligo. She enjoys following the emerging trends in medicine and the improved patient outcomes over the years.

Maria Smit, PA-C
Maria Smit, PA-C is a Florida Native and has been in Tallahassee permanently since 2012. She graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. Next, she attended the University of Florida and earned a Master of Physician Assistant Studies in 2010. During the course of her studies, she was privileged to spend time at Shands Hospital in Jacksonville, as well as various sites across the State of Florida. She is certified by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants and is in good standing with the Florida Board of Medicine. Since 2012 she has been employed in the Emergency Department treating a variety of dermatological conditions in the emergency setting. Maria joins our practice in 2022 and will be seeing medical and cosmetic dermatology patients.
While not at work, Maria enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and three children. They enjoy exploring the beauty offered by North Florida and the Forgotten Coast while boating and hiking.
Onna Yue, Medical Esthetician
Onna Yue is a highly skilled and passionate Florida native with a deep-rooted commitment to providing exceptional skincare services. She graduated from Florida State University High School before earning her Esthetician degree from North Florida Cosmetology Institute. In addition to her Esthetician degree, Onna is a Certified Electrologist and Laser Technician, with a wealth of knowledge in the latest technologies and techniques in the field.
Onna’s passion for skincare was inspired by her sister, who had sensitive skin and experienced persistent rashes and acne. This drive to help others achieve their skincare goals led her to start as a medical assistant at Family Dermatology of North Florida in 2021. She is able to provide treatments to complement medical dermatology treatments with cosmetic procedures such as chemical peels, dermal infusions, microneedling, laser hair removal, Broad Band Light photofacials and electrology.
Onna is skilled in treating all skin colors and hair types, and she is committed to providing customized solutions that meet the unique needs of each patient. With her expertise and caring approach, Onna helps patients feel confident and beautiful in their own skin.
